Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking an experienced Assembler for the second shift in Brea, CA. This temp-to-hire position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled individual to contribute to a fast-paced production environment. The Assembler II will perform complex PCB assembly tasks and ensure that all work aligns with quality and IPC standards.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate automated and manual prep equipment within the department.
- Insert and install thru-hole components, including capacitors, resistors, ICs, and connectors per work instructions and engineering drawings.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools to support thru-hole assembly and minor part-fitting operations such as filing or crimping.
- De-panel individual circuit boards from arrays as required.
- Create and apply labels, including serial numbers and revision identifiers, according to work instructions.
- Perform high-volume, routine, and repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality.
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet internal standards and customer requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-4 years of assembly experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions in English.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Demonstrate strong manual dexterity for handling small components and performing precision assembly tasks.
- Experience using a variety of hand tools and specialized assembly equipment.
- IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 Certification preferred but not required.
Required Work Hours
Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Benefits
The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $19.00, depending on experience.
